10/09/2018 – represents rest (and thus reliance upon Yahuah).
“Speak to the children of Yisra`el, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a set apart convocation.’” (Lev. 23:24). This is a very busy month, what with Yom Kippur (20/09/2018), Sukkot (24/09/2018) and Shimeni Atzaret (02/10/2018).
“However, on the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippur: it shall be a set apart convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahuah.” (Lev. 23:37). This is a Shabbat therefore no work is allowed on this day.
“Speak to the children of Yisra`el, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is Chag Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) for seven days to Yahuah.’” (Lev. 23:34). The first day of Sukkot is a Shabbat.
“Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahuah. On the eighth day shall be a set apart convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahuah. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.” (Lev. 23:36). The eighth day or Shemeni Atzaret, is also a Shabbat.
“The ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeeth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.” (Gen. 8:4). After the chaos of the Flood, the ark finally came to rest.
Blessed are you Yahuah `Elohiym for you have blessed us with the Renewed Moon, the Renewed Covenant and renewed mercies. Blessed are you Yahuah, for your loving-kindness. Ameyn.
“Praise Yahuah! Praise Yahuah from the heavens! Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels! Praise Him, all His host! Praise Him, sun and moon! Praise Him, all you shining stars! Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, You waters that are above the heavens. Let them praise the name of Yahuah, For He commanded, and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.” (Psa. 148:1-6).
