At the presence of the Master of the whole earth.

Who boast in their idols.
Worship Him, all you gods!

Give thanks to His set apart Name.
It was not raining when Noach built the ark.
When I was at sea as a Marine Engineer, I soon learnt (by wise council and painful experience) that as soon as an issue came up, it was better to address that issue as soon as practably possible. This was for several common sense reasons. The primary one was that it something was left in a poor state, it only got worse and the resultant repair would require far more work than if tackled sooner. Another reason is highlighted by part of ai???Murphyai??i??s Lawai??i??: ai???If something can go wrong, it will. It will happen when least expected or when it causes the most chaos.ai??i?? The problem should never be left to ai???mananaai??i?? because ai???mananaai??i?? had enough going on without adding to it.
Sometimes, however, things just dropped off, broke down or refuse to start: if I did not know better, I would have thought that ai???Murphyai??i??s Lawai??i?? was coined by a Marine Engineer. At these times all that could be done was to get on with the repairs. Frequently there were twenty four hour working days. Forty eight and seventy two hour working ai???daysai??i?? (no stops for sleep and very little time to eat) were not uncommon. On the last ship I sailed deep sea on, I fell asleep standing up in the engineroom. The ship was undergoing repairs in Galveston, Texas and I was supervising the repair and cargo discharge condition. I can recall not sleeping for five full days, and less than six hours a day for the preceding two weeks. Whoever thought that going away to sea was glamorous?
Generally, however, with a system of planned maintenance it was possible to foresee any potential problems and deal with them in a timely manner.
So you can see that it is never better putting off for tomorrow what you can do today.
Ai??ai???Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler. Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways and be wise. Which, having no chief, overseer or ruler, provides her bread in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you rise up out of your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little fold of the hands to sleep. So your poverty will come as a robber and your scarcity as an armed man.ai??? (Prov. 6:3-11).
Poverty can come in many guises: money, fuel, relationships, food, water, spiritual and time. Although I do believe that one of the biggest threats to the world today is the lack of fresh water, the one I would like to concentrate on here is time poverty. The sluggard in the above passage is not the person who keeps falling asleep, not able to keep their eyes open. It is the person who does not appreciate the urgency of an imminent crisis.
My wife keeps asking me every time we go out whether the front door is locked. This may seem a little paranoic, but one day we were rushing out to go somewhere, I left the front door open. I am not talking about the door not being locked, I am talking about wide open for all to see into our hallway. As my mind was on other things, I overlooked the obvious, not realising the immediate danger.
Can you imagine being one of Noachai??i??s neighbours? Some experts say it took Noach 120 years to build the ark, some say seven. Even if it was seven, your curiosity would have been piqued by the large vessel being built. In answer to your second question (the first being ai???What is itai??i??), Noach would have said that it was going to rain soon and the whole world was about to be flooded. Rain? Tradition has it that it had never rained prior to the Flood, so as a neighbour, the exercise would seem futile. Nevertheless, Noach was not building the ark because it was sunny today but that it will rain tomorrow.
The Scriptures tell us that Noach was a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). Not only was he building the ark for his family, but for anyone who would be willing to listen to the message of Father given through Noach. In the worldai??i??s view, I am sure that Noach had better things to do with his time. He could have built a smaller vessel and spent more time with his family, taking his ease. I am pretty certain that golf had not then been invented. No, he was faithful to Fatherai??i??s message and built the ark exactly as Father had told him. In between gathering in materiel and shaping bits of it to form the ark, Noach was out preaching. The message? Repent: turn from your wicked ways and back to Father.
As a Believer, what is your priority in life? Is it family? Is it leisure? Or is it the Good News given out to a lost world. When I first came to faith, there was a Believer that spent a lot of his time on the golf course. When I queried this with Father whether it was right or not, I was told that the Believer could reach people with the Good News playing golf that I could never reach. I am not saying that all Believers should stop their leisure activities and stand on a corner preaching the Good News. Far from it. I believe that there is an opportunity to let people know the Good News whether it is on a street corner, at work or on the golf course.
Scripture shows us three clear examples of providing for the future. These are the Shabbat (Sabbath 7th day rest), Shemittah (7th year rest) and the Yovel (Jubilee 50th year rest). These require all people to work but on the 7th day and year and the 50th year to have rest and to leave the land to rest. This calls for people to rely totally on the provision Father has made available to us.
All Believers acknowledge that time is running out and Messiah Yahshuaai??i??s return is imminent. Time is not what we have a lot of and all suffer from ai???time povertyai??i??. Not enough hours in the day; not enough days in the week. Noach still had a family to provide for and lead yet he is known for his ark and his preaching.
What then can be said of non-Believers? Are you like one of Noachai??i??s neighbours who could not see the sense in building an ark? After all, if it had never rained before why should a person listen to that nonsense? Life was good, in a worldly fashion, during Noachai??i??s days.
ai???For as in those days which were before the Flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noach entered in to the ark.ai??? (Matt. 24:38). Life was carefree with no thought of the morrow and its consequences.
This was part of the answer to a question asked of Master Yahshua regarding signs of the End Times. That is, at the culmination of history certain prophecies must be fulfilled. Most experts today consider the days we are in now are the End Times.
Life as we know it is coming to an end.
We are now in the 6th day and provision for the future must be made; and made now. Like the ant, there are things that must be done before winter or the end sets in. Prophetically the 7th day is the eternal future and the only provision that can be carried over into eternity is personal Salvation.
This is the provision that Father has made available to all through His Son, Messiah Yahshua. Provision in that Messiah Yahshua has taken upon Himself the punishment we all deserve because of our sinful life. Any form of disobedience is looked upon by Father as sin, and we all, without exception, have disobeyed Father. Many think that they have led a good life, never murdering anyone, never stealing or committing adultery. This is life according to the standard of the world and not to Fatherai??i??s standard, His Word. In light of this standard, we all have sinned and there will be a day of judgement for us all, and all have to face punishment.
However, for all those who believe that this is so, but have availed of Fatherai??i??s mercy and know that Messiah Yahshua has paid the price, the provision of eternal rest has been given to them. This can only be done in a personai??i??s lifetime. Once a person dies, there can be no more provision made.
The end is imminent.
Have you considered the ant? Or are you the sluggard who thinks that there is plenty of time left? Maybe you are like Noachai??i??s neighbours who, never having seen rain do not believe Noachai??i??s warning. Maybe you do not believe that there is some Deity who has the last word, that the Bible is just another Book. The ant may not know what winter is but it can tell by the signs or has an innate sense of foreboding that it must prepare for the future. Mankind has been given a mind that can comprehend the future. Mankind has been given signs. How much better warned is Mankind than the ant.
Or are you like an incompetent Engineer knowing what the future holds, but is willing to risk all waiting for life to come falling down around your ears?
ai???…A little sleep, a little slumber, a little fold of the hands to sleep…ai??? Life does not have a snooze button.
ai???Father, I am a sinner who needs forgiveness through your Son, Messiah Yahshua. Please forgive me of all my past sins as I accept that, Messiah Yahshua my Saviour, has taken upon Himself my punishment. By your Spirit, help me to live a life worthy of His sacrifice. Thank you, Father, for making this way back to you.ai???Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??
Father, we thank you for the power of your Word and that Word was made flesh in Messiah Yahshua so that in believing in His Life, Death and Resurrection we may have eternal life with you.
If you want to accept Fatherai??i??s offer of salvation through Messiah Yahshua, you need to ask Him in prayer along these lines. Use your own words but they must be genuine as Father knows our very hearts and nothing is hidden from Him.
If you have honestly said such a prayer as these, and truely renounced the sin in your life and accepted Fatherai??i??s salvation through Messiah Yahshua, then please drop us an e-mail at ATC to let us know. This not only builds up our faith, it offers an opportunity to prayfully support you. Even if you have Believing friends or family, we at ATC would be privileged to pray for you. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Saviour welcomes all His Family to join in this memorial. If you have accepted Messiah Yahshua as your Master and Saviour please take the next few moments to seek Father and to ensure that all is right between Him and you and between you and your Brothers and Sisters. If not, please put this right before continuing.
If you have not yet accepted Him into your life, then we encourage you to seek Him while it is still possible, as time is running out. When He returns or if you pass away then it will be too late. Please do not partake of the bread and wine as in doing so, it gives thanks for the broken body (bread) and shed blood (wine) for and a witness of salvation.
On the night of the Masterai??i??s betrayal, He took the bread, blessed it and broke it saying ai???This is my Body broken for you; take and eat it as a memorial to Me.ai??i??
Bless the bread saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the universe, who brings forth bread from the earth.
Break and eat the bread (sharing it if within a group setting):
After the meal He took the Cup of Blessing, blessed it saying ai???This is my Blood poured out for you for the remission of sins; take and drink it as a memorial to me.ai??i??
Bless the wine saying: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the universe, who creates the fruit of the vine.
Drink the wine (sharing it if within a group setting):
Thanksgiving prayer: Blessed are you, O Yahuah our `Elohiym, King of the universe, who gives us, in Yahshua, all that we will ever need. In your lovingkindness and mercy, you rebuild broken lives. You bless us, in Yahshua, with a perfect blessing. Ameyn.
ai???Do not boast about tomorrow;
For you do not know what a day may bring forth.ai??? (Prov. 27:1).
Chag Matzah ai??i?? 02/04/2018 to 08/04/2018
Counting of the Omer ai??i?? 08/04/2018 to 27/05/2018
2nd. New Moon ai??i?? 17/04/2018
Shavuot ai??i?? 27/05/2018
