40:1) For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.
40:2) I waited patiently for Yahua.
He turned to me, and heard my cry.
40:3) He brought me up also out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay.
He set my feet on a rock,
And gave me a firm place to stand.
40:4) He has put a new song in my mouth, even to praise our `Elohiym.
Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahua.
40:5) Blessed is the man who makes Yahua his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
40:6) Many, Yahua my `Elohiym, are the wonderful works which you have done,
And your thoughts that are towards us.
They cannot be set in order to you.
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.
40:7) Sacrifice and offering you did not desire.
You have opened my eyes.
Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.
40:8) Then I said, ai???Behold, I have come.
It is written about me in the writing of the book.
40:9) I delight to do your will, my `Elohiym.
Yes, your law is within my heart.ai???
40:10) I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly.
Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahua, you know.
40:11) I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart.
I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation.
I have not concealed your lovingkindness,
And your truth from the great assembly.
40:12) Do not withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahua.
Let your lovingkindness and your truth continually preserve me.
40:13) For innumerable evils have surrounded me.
My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up.
They are moreAi?? than the hairs of my head.
My heart has failed me.
40:14) Be pleased, Yahua, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahua.
Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek after my soul to destroy it.
Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonour who delight in my hurt.
40:15) Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, ai???Aha! Aha!ai???
40:16) Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you.
Let such as love your salvation say continually, ai???Let Yahua be exalted!ai???
40:17) But I am poor and needy,
May Yahua think about me.
You are my help and deliverer.
Do not delay, my `Elohiym.
Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai?? Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Ai??Brand HaSatan: A Public Relations Coup (Part 5)
The following is an imaginary story taking place on the day after Messiah was taken back up to Heaven. It is the fifth meeting between haSatan and a public relations demon.
In a previous ai???meetingai??i?? HaSatan wanted simple Man to believe that it was, as Yahua `Elohiym, all-knowing. Although in previous episodes it has been recorded that HaSatan and its demon have knowledge of future events, this has only been done for the sake of the story. It is the belief at ATC that demons, including the chief of demons, HaSatan, do not have any prophetic ability. This is a gift of the Ruach HaKodesh. However, they are capable of manipulating events so that it appears that what they say is a truly prophetic word. They are certainly capable of reading Scripture and drawing knowledge from Yahuaai??i??s prophets, but of themselves have no such ability. In fact, the least mature Believer has a greater ability to understand Scripture as demons because they have the Ruach HaKodesh leading them.
HaSatan: I have lost everything. Everything I tell you!
Demon: What has happened? I thought everything went well over Pesach.
HaSatan: That is what I thought. Everything went according to plan. Unfortunately, it was not my plan but that of Almighty. Oh yes, I knew that that Yahshua was His Son, the Suffering Servant of His. I was delighted when my agents had Him arrested and beaten to a pulp. Yet I expected Almighty to rescue Him from the Tree in a great spectacle. If they had just buried Him, I could have worked it to my advantage, but not now. Not after Almighty has brought Him back to life.
Demon: What we now need to do is to confuse simple Man as to what has happened. Say we plant a seed of doubt as to whether He actually died and His followers managed to revive Him. Or that He has died but His followers have taken Him away and secretly buried Him elsewhere.
HaSatan: That cannot be done. Many people have seen Him.
Demon: Only His followers. It will be easy to deceive simple Man.
HaSatan: But Scripture has shown that there must be a resurrection as the Son will return soon as Conquering King.
Demon: Not so! What if there were two Messiahs: one that has just gone and another that will come soon?
HaSatan: Noooh! No-one is going to believe that. Two Messiahs?
Demon: Well, if you do not think that will work, how about confusing simple Man as to who or what the Messiah is?
HaSatan: I am not sure I understand.
Demon: Well, if we can confuse simple Man as to when Messiah was born, maybe simple Man will doubt that He has come. If we can confuse him as to when He died and was resurrected, there will be even more doubt. The more doubt that we can sew, the less likely simple Man will stake everything upon Him.
HaSatan: You are the expert, what must be done, go ahead and do it.
Demon: Remember your last visit, we talked about Santa Claus/St. Nicholas? Well, if we can combine the Messiahai??i??s false birth date with the celebration of some of your demonic false gods; mix these in with traditions that we invent and add Santa Claus and his gifts. Then let simple Man know that all these are false, then they will come to associate the Messiah with a whole bunch of lies. Then, we need to do the same with His death and resurrection. Lies at the beginning of His life, lies at the end of His life, simple Man will find it difficult to believe any truth in between.
ai???You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. It was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in it. When it speaks a lie, it speaks on its own; for it is a liar and the father of it.ai??? (John 8:44).
Beloved, the above is only a story, but it does illustrate how Scripture has been mis-interpreted, modified or just downright falsified. Take a look at these two scenarios and their effect on Judaism and ai???Christianityai??i??.
Judaism cannot come to terms with a single Messiah; crucified, resurrected, exalted and waiting to return to claim His Kingdom.
ai???Christianityai??i?? celebrates the birth of Messiah in December. This cannot be supported by Scripture but it does share the date with celebrations for various pagan gods, using pagan symbols and traditions.
ai???Christianityai??i?? celebrates the death of Messiah near the beginning of the year. Although this is correct, the actual date is Pesach (Passover) has been perverted and His death now celebrated along with a female pagan god and the day is called Easter.
Have you been taken in by the lies of ai???Christmasai??i?? and ai???Easterai??i??? Search the Scriptures yourself. Messiah was born at Sukkot (Sept. to Oct.) and was crucified at Pesach. These are supported by Scripture and are the truth; as is the life in between. Messiah Yahshua was born, lived, was crucified and exalted so that all who believe this can accept His sacrifice, on our behalf. He took away the consequences and punishment for our sins.
He is set to return soon; very soon.
If you want to acceptAi??Fatherai??i??s offer of salvation through Messiah Yahshua, you need to ask Him in prayer along these lines. Use your own words but they must be genuine asAi??FatherAi??knows our very hearts and nothing is hidden from Him.
ai???Father, I am a sinner who needs forgiveness through your Son, Messiah Yahshua. Please forgive me of all my past sins as I accept that, Messiah Yahshua my Saviour, has taken upon Himself my punishment. By your Spirit, help me to live a life worthy of His sacrifice. Thank you,Ai??Father, for making this way back to you.ai???Ai??
Father, we thank you for the power of your Word and that Word was made flesh in Messiah Yahshua so that in believing in His Life, Death and Resurrection we may have eternal life with you.
ai???A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free.ai??? (Prov. 19:5).
Father willing, we will gather again next Shabbat.
